Pick a direction and fly. Every jump costs fuel, and when the tank runs dry the engines cut out and the ship drifts on. That's how every run ends, and it isn't a loss.

On the way you survey planets, extract fuel, or linger in orbit for a slow trickle that might get you one sector further. Anomalies can give you fuel, take some, or leave you a piece of an old archive.

There's nothing to fight and nothing that can kill you. Between runs you earn upgrades that change the ship you start with, and every run is a universe you haven't seen.
